This handcrafted tzedukah box is created from mixed metals and fused glass. No two are identical, each piece of fused glass is individually made. This box is 3" tall. Personalized on the back with engraved name and date. Tzedukah means charity. Being charitable is one of the most important obligations of Judaism. A tzedukah box is a receptacle for collecting money which is then given to a to help others in the form of a charitable contribution. Boxes are frequently found in homes and synagogues. Often tzedukah is collected on Shabbat and holidays.
